Scandle Body Massage Candle Review and Giveaway ~US ONLY~ 5/20

 After going over the many different scents of candles, I finally decided on the Oatmeal Milk and Honey fragrance. I tried to think of something light that I would like to apply to my skin after a bath or shower or even pair with another scent. When receiving the candle, I wanted to give myself a home spa experience. So, I lit the candle in the bathroom, drew myself a bath, and relaxed for about a half an hour (the recommended time to burn the candle before use). After stepping out, I was a little skeptical to pour hot wax/oil into my hand but I thought “here we go!”. I began by pouring a small amount into my palm only to feel that the oil was perfectly warm and allowed me to relax that much further .

After experiencing the wonderful scent of the essential oils and the warmth of the oil, it was time to test out the feel of it on the skin. When I think of typical massage oils, I think of greasy and something that leaves a layer of oil on top of the skin rather than penetrating. The Scandle Candle’s oil was smooth, thick, and velvety. The richness of the oil made my skin feel softer than I could imagine will penetrating into the skin and not leaving me with a greasy feeling where I would want to shower it off. I finished by massaging a tiny bit into my dry hands – later realizing I couldnt stop messaging my hands together, feeling how smooth and hydrated they now were.
